The Preserve at Indian Hills
Overlooking the beautiful Long Island Sound in scenic Fort Salonga, the Preserve at Indian Hills includes 55 and better Townhomes situated in three separate areas of the Indian Hills Golf Course. The plan will include improvements to the Indian Hills Country Club, preserving it in perpetuity. The plan will also preserve 120 out of a total of 143 acres. The townhomes will not impact the vistas of the Club from Breeze Hill Road and Fresh Pond Road, and the character of the neighborhood will be preserved.
Stony Brook Heritage Graduate Housing Community
Located conveniently close to Stony Brook University, this important Northwind Group Community will help to serve the growing housing requirements of graduate and post-doctoral students. It will help to alleviate many of the housing concerns in the area, while contributing a positive economic impact for the town, county and state. The proposed architectural designs will complement the existing community and enhance its historical nature – all without major traffic concerns.
This is a redevelopment site of a blighted industrial property on McConnell Avenue. We are proposing 30 senior condominiums that will provide affordable senior housing in place of an industrial eyesore in the middle of this residential neighborhood.
Beach Plum Meadows
In November 2016, The Northwind Group in conjunction with the Village of South Hampton sold the property to the Community Preservation Fund. The property will be preserved in perpetuity.
